Our Business

We provide and exchange professional insights and continuing education for dental hygienists in the area.  Our organization meets approximately 8 times a year.  PDHA has been serving the Peninsula for over 20 years keeping local hygienists in touch through networking with each other and aware of advancements in the profession.  We welcome the public community and colleagues to contact us at pdha07@yahoo.com

MISSION STATEMENT OF THE AMERICAN DENTAL HYGIENISTS’ ASSOCIATION

To improve the public’s health, the mission of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association is to advance
the art and science of dental hygiene by ensuring access to quality oral health care, increasing awareness of the cost-effective benefits of prevention, promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education,
licensure, practice and research, and representing and promoting the interests of dental hygienists.
